So Long Summer… Hello Senior Year

Greetings and salutations! Considering this is my first official blog post, I should make it a topic that isn’t too weighed down with my troubles and the like. So I’ll just talk about my summer and how it’s quickly fading into nothingness…

September is quickly approaching and that means school is about to begin! I’m trustfully telling all you readers- with the hopes that you won’t hunt me down- that I am currently living in NYC. I don’t consider myself a spoiled rich kid, but living in a city like this does make me feel like one on occasion.

If you’ve read the ‘About Me’ page on my blog, you’ll know I was born in England. I moved to America when I finished primary school. And like the strange adolescent I was, loved to travel to new places and experience new things. BUT BACK TO THE TOPIC!

The school year is almost among us- and by us I mean me- and there isn’t much time left to enjoy the summer. I’ve done practically everything I could think of…

  • Hang Out w/ Friends
  • Hang Out w/ Family
  • Hang Out w/ My Dog
  • Eat
  • Sleep
  • Work Out
  • Read
  • And blah, blah, blah…

I feel so satisfied, but at the same time unaccomplished. This is my senior year we’re talking about. I’m about to enter the last year of my high school career. It’s as scary as being lost at the mall! With the arrival of my senior year, I’ll have to keep my eyes peeled for: fresh meat, cute new boys, and possible new friends/enemies. There is so much to look forward to and dread as the school year comes nearer. What shall I do?

Well I guess that is what I have a blog for. If you guys have stuck with me throughout this first post, please post any advice you have on starting school strong. Or even post a comment on how you spent ‘your’ summer; or if you’ve started school already, tell me about your first day.

Thanks for reading. Ciao!
